AACo manages a cattle herd of around 400,000 head across a strategic balance of properties, feedlots and farms throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory.
AACo owns and operates a strategic balance of properties, feedlots and farms, comprising around 6.4 million hectares of land in Queensland and the Northern Territory. This equates to roughly 1% of Australia’s land mass.
Each property has a strategic position in the AACo supply chain, in breeding and growing, backgrounding or finishing cattle; or growing grains and fodder crops to support cattle production.
AACo’s state-of-the-art Livingstone Beef processing facility is situated at Livingstone Valley, 50km south of Darwin in the Northern Territory.
Livingstone Beef was officially opened by the Hon. Tony Abbott, Prime Minister of Australia on Saturday 21 February 2015.
The facility has the capacity to process up to 1000 head of cattle a day. The facility produces export beef, hides and rendered products.
